Collection description: The collection is an opening stage of a digital archive of life stories of Slovenian emigrants and their descendants. It has been designed to be continuously supplemented by adding new life stories. The experiences of individuals as historical agents are an increasingly important source for the understanding of social and cultural phenomena. Therefore, this collection aims at gathering oral and written testimonies and life stories of Slovenian emigrants and their descendants in an historical and contemporary context.
