Zajuckaj in zapoj: Pika paka hamrle

You are warmly invited to the Atrij ZRC on June 10, 2025, at 8 p.m. for the concert Shout and sing, Pika paka hamrle, which will be dedicated to the rich folksong tradition of the Kočevska (i.e. Gottschee) region. The event will also be broadcasted live on the First Programme of Radio Slovenia.

Performers include the Vocal ensembleCantate Domino and both the adult and children’s sections of the Folklore Group of the Association of the Gottscheer native settlers.

The event was conceptualized by Dr. Anja Moric and Dr. Urša Šivic.

 

It is organized with the support of the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Slovenian National Commission for UNESCO, the Cultural and Ethnomusicological Society Folk Slovenija, and the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency.
