Content: The key legal issues raised by AI in the area of personal data protection will be presented - what is the definition of personal data and is it still relevant in the age of AI, what are the fundamental principles that controllers need to take into account when developing and using AI systems, and how to ensure the rights of individuals. The second part of the lecture will present the new AI Act, which focuses on the regulation of AI systems in the light of the risks they pose.
